Text: Peace from within

A hopeful thought floats freely in the sky, carrying a message of peace. Hiding behind the clouds, it is still invisible to the residents of the Earth. It patiently awaits its culmination to pour itself into drops of hope and peace on the arid ground of inequity and injustice, leaving then behind it a clear blue sky. 

The painting was conceived for an auction organized by Human rights watch in Beirut in 2018. The circle made of classic calligraphy hints to the early works of the artist on the streets of Mar Mikhael in Beirut, denoting the journey of transmuting the work from a street art piece into a contribution serving a noble cause.
