Acrylic on metal sculpture - JULY 2019

“God has as many ways as the count of breaths of all beings.”

The dervish is whirling gracefully, his movement is free as the wind.
He dances for himself, he does not mind the audience.
He becomes blind to the outer world, but sees himself very sharply.
In this dance, he found his own way to ultimate bliss.

This work is an intervention on the dervish sculpture by artist May Al Richani. It expresses the idea of finding one’s own unique path to the Self, away from any constraint or judgement.
